The short version

Your documents never reach us. PDFs and images are opened and read inside your browser. There is no upload step, no server-side storage, and no third-party OCR API.

What we do store

• A random browser id (something like dx_9f3…) kept in your browser's local storage. It exists so your free allowance follows you.
• A usage counter for that id: how many documents you have processed this month, and how many you have purchased.
• Payment records from Creem if you buy a pack: order id, amount, email. We never see your card details.

What we do not store

• No copies of your documents, filenames, or extracted text.
• No advertising trackers or third-party analytics beacons.
• No training on anything you process — we never see it.

Third parties

Hosting is Cloudflare Pages. Payments and tax are handled by Creem. Fonts and the OCR engine are loaded from public CDNs (jsDelivr), which see your IP address as any CDN does, but never your documents.

Your choices

Clear your browser's site data to remove the local identifier — you will get a new free allowance and lose the old one. Email us to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted.
